In 1999, Jeroen founded CM.com together with Gilbert Gooijers, originally under the name ClubMessage.

The idea was to introduce SMS marketing in the Netherlands for clubs and nightclubs. It took off quickly—within a few years, they were reaching nearly a million young people per week via SMS and serving over a thousand clubs across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Today, CM.com generates over €220 million in annual revenue and connects millions of users for clients such as banks, TV stations, police forces, marketing agencies, and more.
The company has over 750 employees and offices in cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, Cape Town, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Brussels, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Enschede, Maastricht, and Breda.

Their mission is to build the world’s best platform for mobile messaging, payments, voice, apps, and security.

Jeroen is passionate about the mobile market, growth, entrepreneurship, and innovation in general. He is also one of the founders of the Mobile Convention Amsterdam.
